MEDICARE GUIDANCE
Medicare is a health program mainly for people 65 and older. Some people may qualify earlier due to disability or certain conditions.

A private alternative for receiving Part A and B benefits. Usually includes prescription coverage.
Helps cover prescription drugs. Check your prescriptions and the plan's pharmacies.
Supplements Original Medicare and helps with certain out-of-pocket costs. It does not supplement Medicare Advantage.
You can receive benefits through Original Medicare (Parts A and B) or a Medicare Advantage plan (Part C). Your choice depends on factors including your providers, prescriptions and budget.
With Original Medicare, you can consider Part D prescription coverage and, when appropriate, a Medigap policy that helps with certain out-of-pocket expenses. Medigap does not supplement Medicare Advantage.
These private plans are approved by Medicare and provide Part A and B benefits. They usually include prescription coverage. Networks, costs and conditions vary by plan.
Confirm your enrollment period, your doctors' participation and prescription coverage. Check how a change would affect any coverage you already have.
